BUDBURST Buses AND OTHER TRANSPORT OPTIONS
Budburst buses
Leave the driving to someone else!
Budburst buses are a convenient way to navigate the festival, giving you stress-free flexibility and total peace of mind.
On Saturday bus routes will be operating a hop-on hop-off system with frequent buses allowing you to navigate between 5+ budburst sites with 8+ wineries per loop at your own pace. Buses will be stopping at wineries every 20-30min.
On Sunday take a bus for a set itinerary that means you stay with your bus for the whole day, still allowing you to visit 5+ budburst sites with 8+ wineries per loop. You will have approximately 50 min to explore each of the winery sites on your bus loop.
Buses are operated by friendly local drivers that will take you directly to the cellar doors around the Macedon Ranges.
The Budburst Buses will visit multiple festival sites with routes originating at either Woodend Train Station or Lancefield Post Office. Choose your preferred bus loop, then either catch a train to Woodend, or find easy, unrestricted car parking in Lancefield.
You will be picked up from one of the designated collection points for your selected route between 10.00 to 10.15 am in time for your Festival Day to begin.
This gives you the flexibility to sit back and relax on day you have your bus ticket and then venture further afield on a self-drive itinerary to further explore the rolling hills and vineyards of the Macedon Ranges Wine Region on the other.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO TRAVEL ON A BUDBURST BUS.
Please note Budburst bus tickets are sold as an 'add on' ticket when you purchase your festival pass at a cost of $70 for the day.
Bus tickets do sell out and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment. Bus ticket sales will close on 6th November.
